About me
I am Phoebe Fae, a multidisciplinary artist and designer living on Salt Spring Island. I’m excited to introduce Aligned by Design — an embodiment of the culmination of wisdom and experience gained from refining my own creative process & bringing visionary ideas to life.
I acknowledge and thank the Coast Salish peoples, specifically from the W̱SÁNEĆ (Saanich), Quw’utsun (Cowhichan) and Stz’uminus (Chemanius) First Nations territories – past, present, and future – for their stewardship, care, and leadership on these lands that I am privileged to live, grow and create upon. I give thanks to the ancestors, supernatural ones, leaders and matriarchs, creatures big and small for looking after the rich resources and cultural teachings of this beautiful land.
What I believe in
I believe in the magic of intentional creation, where websites are more than digital spaces—they become prayers, visual stories, and living entities. I live in reverence for the power of ceremony, intention, and conscious creativity.
Who I create for
My passion lies in working with visionaries, artists, practitioners and entrepreneurs—those who dare to dream big and seek a harmonious blend of structure, spirit, and storytelling in their online presence. I create for those who are ready to experience the profound impact a website can have as a rite of passage, stepping deeper into their sacred service.
My Story
As an artist, stage designer, and event curator, I've always been drawn to the transformative power of visual storytelling. My creative journey started with the inherent challenge of lacking a structured approach to anchor my creativity and inspiration. I faced struggles in sustaining and grounding my ideas while navigating the emergence of fears and resistances during the creative process.
Over time, I began to develop a profound respect for the Ecology of Creation, recognizing it as an inherently deep psycho-spiritual journey. I relate to the creation process now as an alchemical opportunity to become the person I need to be to sustain the ideas I yearned to bring to life.
After years of navigating the cut-and-paste landscape of website design, Aligned by Design evolved as a natural and necessary way forward. This venture represents a holistic, rite-of-passage approach to stewarding dreams, and a sacred space for the cultivation of transformative ideas.
Today, I am honored to specialize in grounding these big ideas into impactful online realities, whether it's shaping a new offering, realizing an entrepreneurial vision, or deepening into your artistry. I firmly believe that as carriers of sacred vision, we thrive when leaning on each other to steward life into these concepts with clarity, alignment and resource.
With a BA in Studio Arts and a minor in theatre from Concordia University, my academic foundation laid the groundwork for my artistic pursuits. Currently, I am completing my studies at the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute, on route to becoming a registered therapeutic counselor, and expressive arts therapist by Fall 2024. This multifaceted background equips me to guide clients not only through the technicalities of website creation but also on a functional, spiritual, and psychological level.
